I’m Chris Goers, an Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner passionate about helping individuals and couples untangle life’s messiness and find real, lasting healing. Using the IFS model—a profoundly effective, evidence-based approach—I guide clients in understanding and embracing all parts of themselves (yes, even the ones that make questionable decisions at midnight).
With over 40 years in church ministry and more than 30 years of personal recovery experience, I bring both wisdom and a deep, firsthand understanding of the healing journey. I specialize in sexual addiction recovery and betrayal trauma, providing a judgment-free space where you can work through pain, shame, and relationship struggles with honesty and hope.
Holding a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), I weave faith into my practice in a way that feels natural, never pushy. I believe healing happens best when you feel safe, heard, and—occasionally—able to laugh at the wild ride of being human.
When working with couples, I team up with my wife, Jennifer, because, let’s be honest, some things just work better with both perspectives in the room. Together, we help couples rebuild trust, communicate better, and navigate the joys and challenges of partnership.
Clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, insight, and ability to make the deep work of healing feel approachable. Through IFS, I help people move from feeling stuck to feeling whole—because all parts of you deserve a seat at the table (even the awkward ones).
